It is only by really understanding the person, that it is possible to produce a design that meets every aspect of the brief.
Throughout the journey from project concept to completion, our client’s aspirations are brought ever-closer to life through an array of creative presentations. The presentation of ideas are the moments in time when the wishes of the client, the vision of the designer and the personality of the property come together. The result should inspire, excite and delight, always moving the design forward through every phase of project.
To meet all of the aesthetic and practical requirements of a brief it is often necessary to start with such fundamentals of the structure. ‘Spatial design’ and functionality are established early on in the process, by way of simple architectural floor plans.Early architectural drawings might show, for example, how to redistribute a space by opening up a number of banquets & rooms to create a more dynamic and inspiring wedding space. Similarly there may be a need to add some architectural feature to give a venue that is visually uninspiring a renewed sense of grandeur or importance.
“Our relationship with our clients is so important at Zero Hour. As architects we remind ourselves that designing an individual’s project is to design their dreams.”
Pranav Punde
Project Architect
In the process of designing and building a wedding venue/banquet, it’s important to present examples of the proposed design at the earliest stage. This approach helps clients develop a real enthusiasm for the evolving design and enables all concerned to proceed to the more detailed work with complete confidence.
Perhaps the best way for all concerned to visualise a design is to be presented with a three dimensional computer animation. Typically it is one of the most exciting early milestones of the project life-cycle. This allows our designers to assimilate all of their ideas and work to date in ways that can be seen from multiple angles and perspectives.
“In 1961 famed furniture designers Charles and Ray Eames, scripted the importance of details in design. Together they outlined how the details of a design, aren’t simply the details, they are the design."
Mohit Devgan
3D Visualizer
Once the concept designs, budget and planning have been agreed our specialist construction team – together with the architects – will translate all of the design work to date into detailed construction drawings. It is these plans that manifest themselves into the finished home, delivered by our own contractors on-site.
“I’m often asked, who builds the venues we design. And I usually need to repeat myself when I answer; we do. It’s what allows us to be bespoke, it’s what makes us different.”
Aarti Patwari
Civil Engineer
